Production process of 16 gauge hot rolled steel sheet
- Heating: Heating is the first step in the billet processing process, the purpose is to improve the plasticity of the billet and reduce the energy consumption during the rolling process. - Cooling: During the rolling process, the temperature of the plate and steel strip will increase a lot. In order to prevent material deformation and stress accumulation and ensure that the organization and performance of the steel meet the requirements, cooling must be carried out.
- Trimming: After the raw materials of the steel strip are processed, trimming is required to meet the size requirements of actual production use. Common trimming methods include water cutting and manual cutting. In actual operation, special attention should be paid to the selection of cutting quantity, cutting angle, etc. to ensure that the cutting technical indicators are met.
