API 5L Seamless Steel Pipe (Gr.B / X52)
API 5L PSL1 / PSL2 seamless line pipe, Gr.B, X42, X46, X52, X56, X60, 2-3/8" to 24" OD, wall Sch 20 - Sch 160. Hot rolled and hot expanded on our own piercing line, beveled ends, hydro tested, EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 MTC, third party inspection welcome.
Line pipe is the one product where the paperwork gets read line by line, and honestly, I like it that way. A contractor building a water transmission main in Ghana sent his inspector to sit in our workshop for four days last spring. The man checked wall thickness with his own ultrasonic gauge, watched the hydro test hold 60 seconds per pipe, and picked three pipes at random for flattening. We did not clean anything up for the visit. That is the point of making API 5L pipe the same way every day, whether someone is watching or not.
My plant rolls seamless line pipe on our own piercing mill, so when a customer asks for PSL2 with impact testing at minus 20 degrees, the answer comes from our mill metallurgist, not from a trading desk forwarding an email. We hold chemistry for Gr.B through X60, and we will tell you plainly which wall and diameter combos roll this week and which ones queue behind the schedule. A pipeline contractor in Peru once moved his order up three weeks to fit our rolling window, and we held his price for it. That trade made sense for both of us.

The wall thickness argument worth having before you order
Every tender I see calculates wall one way and nobody on site agrees with it by the time the trench is open. If you send me pressure, class and terrain, our mill engineer will run the calc with you, and sometimes the answer is a thicker wall in a cheaper grade instead of X60 throughout. That swap saved a client in Iraq about eleven percent on a gathering line, and the design office signed off after seeing the mill certs. I am not selling the highest grade you can afford. I am selling pipe that passes your hydro test in one go.

What the inspector actually checks, and what we prepare
Bevel face within tolerance, no more than the allowed ovality at the ends, and a hydro record with the right dwell time. We gauge and stencil every pipe, photograph the bundles with their stencil cards, and load so the tall wall pipe goes in last and comes off first. The contractor in Ghana told me his crew unloaded two kilometers of pipe in a day and a half because every bundle was sorted by length. Nobody praised that at the time. His site engineer still orders against those photos when he argues with other suppliers.

Coating, valves and the things we do not make
We supply bare pipe, FBE and three layer PE through partners whose plants we visit every quarter, and I will tell you if your job is better off buying pipe and coating locally. If you need fittings, we quote them alongside, but our core is the pipe itself. What we will not do is take on a coating schedule we cannot inspect, because a holiday in the coating becomes your leak in year eight, and no warranty letter covers the trust you lose that way.

Request a Quote
Send OD, wall, grade, PSL level and discharge port, or send the pipe schedule page from your tender. We reply with a rolling date, not just a price, and a mill engineer joins the call if your question is about design factor or impact energy. Twelve hours is our usual answer window.
