Cathodic Protection

Barrier Protection

During the corrosion process, the electrons produced by zinc will further react with O2, H2O, CO2, etc. in the corrosive medium to form a hard, dense, and insoluble composite zinc salt layer on the surface. At the same time, CO2 in the air reacts further with the surface zinc to form a dense and hard alkaline carbonate zinc salt layer, etc., which plays a role in preventing oxidation. In addition, the fusion materials in the strong zinc also form a barrier protection effect. Therefore, the strong zinc has the dual functions of cathodic protection and barrier protection. The strong zinc breaks through the limitations of traditional coatings and achieves excellent long-term anti-corrosion capabilities.
