Steel Plate Structure
Mar 15, 2025
Steel plate structure is mainly formed by pouring molten steel and pressing it after cooling, usually in the shape of a flat rectangular plate. Steel plates can be divided into thin steel plates (less than 4 mm thick), medium and thick steel plates (between 4 and 60 mm thick) and extra thick steel plates (greater than 60 mm thick) according to thickness. According to the rolling method, they can be divided into hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel plates. The width of thin plates is usually between 500 and 1500 mm, while the width of thick plates is between 600 and 3000 mm.
