1. Raw material preparation (hot-rolled coil)
Source: The raw material for cold rolling is hot-rolled steel coil, usually with a thickness of 1.5~6.0mm and a width of up to 2000mm.
Requirement: Hot rolled coils must have no obvious defects such as oxide scale and cracks on the surface, and the chemical composition (C, Mn, Si, etc.) must meet the requirements of cold rolling.
2. Acid washing
Purpose: To remove the oxide scale on the surface of hot-rolled coils and improve surface quality.
3. Cold rolling
Purpose: Rolling at room temperature to thin steel plates and improve surface accuracy and mechanical properties.
4. Annealing
Purpose: To eliminate work hardening after cold rolling, restore plasticity, and formability.
5. Finishing
Purpose: To adjust the final performance, surface condition, and dimensional accuracy.

According to the purpose, cold-rolled sheets can undergo additional treatments such as galvanizing, aluminum zinc plating, and color coating
